Weekly Pottery Classes will start on the 21st of January 2025
Having acted as the helper at Ridge Pottery on a number of summer courses since 2022, Seren Birtles will be starting up our pottery classes again this January with input from Douglas and Jennie.
Seren will guide students through a 10 week course, giving a comprehensive overview of the full making process. These sessions will explore a range of hand building and throwing techniques with one-to-one tuition tailored for beginners and more experienced potters alike.
From throwing bowls and attaching handles to mugs, to altered forms, lids, and spouts and of course decoration with a number of glazes, slips and colourants, students are sure to come away feeling accomplished.
Classes begin on the 21st of January, with three classes running every Tuesday for a maximum of 8 students per class.
Morning session: 10am to 12:30pm
Afternoon session: 2.30pm – 5pm
Evening session: 7.30pm – 9pm
